Discipline

Discipline

The lockdowns around the globe seems to be vanishing in rapid speed, here in the United Kingdom, the government eased the restrictions, gym are open again along with barber shops, in-door dining in restaurants and pubs are allowed again and basically getting back into normality slowly but surely.

As much as I am cherishing this situation I realized that in the past months I lost most of my motivation and discipline to follow suit with my well preplanned schedules in terms of excersizing, self-development so on and so forth. Here right this moment I thought, I couldn’t even find a better moment to highlight the self-discpline and its importance in my life.

Self-discpline, or self-control, means taking possession of your own mind. - Napoleon Hill

I started to go to the gym and picking up my hobbies again and one day I felt very tired and honestly didn’t have the energy to go to train, then self-discipline kicked-in and packed my things and went, after the training I went to the sauna and felt proud of myself that I didn’t let myself down and started to think about this whole situation and how important is to master self-control in our lives. The best way to explain discipline is that discipline is, when you do things for the greater good.

Just a small daily deed like keep on going even if you’d love to do something else or be somewhere else can mean a lot in the long run and that’s thanks to discipline.

Self-discipline and minimalism actually very much correlated and needed in the daily life of a minimalist, when you say no, to purchase something because you are embracing the things you already have than you are maintaining your self-discipline.

Being disciplined and have a routine and to stick to it, it is one of the key characteristic needed to succeed in life, you need discipline to stick to a budget, you need discipline to invest month on month to reach financial independence, but you also need discipline to keep yourself fit and stick to a diet, I would even suggest an overall lifestyle change for good. Discipline is the hidden gem that not too many have found yet.

We can all become minimalists, we born to this planet naked without nothing and we will leave it naked without nothing, what we do in-between in that short period of time called life, it’s up to us. Let’s prioritise the really important things in life. Minimalism and a disciplined execution of a well-thought financial and well-being, self-development plan can lead to a better overall health, finances and deeper understanding of our relationships and ourselves.

I hope you all start to master of compounding and self-control because the less you worry about your day, the better you will feel. Incorporate the good things in your life and make them like a habit, let self-discipline be part of your life.

The less is more.

Your sincerely
