Fitness and minimalism
I was always a sporty individual thanks to my parents since a very young age I was involved into multiple sports including Karate, Thai-box, Football, Swimming, Waterpolo, Handball and got a fair touch in Volley ball as well. I’ve always seen sports as part of my life and part of my personality as well.
Since I moved to London and started to study and working it made it extremely difficult to get involved in classes due to the strange working pattern (I work weird shifts, weekends included) so I didn’t want to give upon sports so enrolled into a gym and keep it going till today.
As one of the surprise, gym’s can be quite cheap in London, for example I signed up perviously for The Gym Group for £16.99 a month and they had a decent gym, currently I’m with Pure Gym paying the very same amount and their facilities are even better, can’t complain really and the best thing about, it’s 24/7 so as I’m usually a night owl many times I hit up the gym during night time or very early mornings 3-4AM to do my workout.
I always felt that overall fitness is required for a healthy mind and still think that and made sure it’s incorporated into my daily routine. I go usually 3-4 times a week to the gym and also doing basic yoga moves at home on a yoga mattresse with basic stretchings and few abs exercises 1-2 times a week. Always feel after a good tiring gym session mentally relieved and happy. You know that good tired happiness when you feel like you’ve made the best out of yourself and out of your day but the opposite happens time to time as well when I feel super guilty because I missed a session due to being lazy.
Where my weird yoga moves take place.
Throughout the years I’ve realized that whenever I miss too many workouts or just was eating some junk food I feel too stressed, can get sick and feel overwhelmed. I can caught upon myself being rude and stressed with people as well and have to tell you sports are the best way to relieve stress.
As the saying goes; in healthy body there’s a healty mind.
To be more, you have to be less, you have eat less junk food, train more, have to give upon laziness and go out for some fresh air, the best way to make friends is to be more social and the easiest way to do so is through sports. I definitely recommend to everyone in every age group to go out, have a walk, hit the gym, sign up for sport classes, sport gives you a good overall fitness and teach you discipline what you gonna be able to utilise in every aspect of your life. Healthy way is the only way to go on this planet.
Do you workout? Is it part of your daily routine?
You’re sincerely
