The state of Love and Trust

The state of Love and Trust

Like my favourite song’s title from Pearl Jam point it out; we all need to reach the state of love and trust. Wish it would be just that easy, but ain’t no easy peasy. We live in a highly materialistic world where nobody asks you how do you really feel. From where else than Paris is more authentic to write an article like this one, sitting in a cafe and sipping my Cappuccino in the city of Love.

The cafe that makes the Parisian experience even more beautiful.

The cafe that makes the Parisian experience even more beautiful.

If you’re around and wanna pop into this stunning place and grab a fancy coffee like this one, you can find the cafe’s website here and also in the location option of the post.

A truly beautiful spot in Paris, where I’m reaching the state of love and trust.

A truly beautiful spot in Paris, where I’m reaching the state of love and trust.

Try to start a random conversation with people around you, old “friends”, colleagues, former classmates, pub buddies, all they are interested in is how much you’re making, what do you do for living, where did you travel to, what kind of car do you have, where do you live, how much money you got, but they ain’t really interested how do you feel, if you’re happy within, if you’re satisfied within, if you’re spiritually alright or not….

It’s not primary their fault, instead the media’s fault, the so called social influencer’s fault, my fault when I post these amazing pictures from Paris with Love, the fake lifestyle we build so carefully on the social media, look all around Facebook and Instagram, you’re gonna see the best of everyone there, the fake smiles, the fake relationships, but guess what? Most of us just think like instead of show off just piss off.

Of course we never gonna tell them in the face, but we all think that deep inside, we are fake, human behaviour is fake, we need to change, we need to trust and love ourselfs first and then the people around you and only possible if we find our peace within.

The trust of our actions, the trust of our love, the trust of our family and friends are equilly as important as love. Minimalism brought more love and trust into my life than I ever thought before, I trust in myself enough to do not jump anymore on the showing off bandwagon I was part of way too long, I trust my actions enough to do not explain them to none anymore, I ran a more relaxed lifestyle with more fun, more experience and less stuff, thanks to minimalism.

In the end of the day, our world is a big trade off, giving up our freetime for money, capitalism at its best, but can we do it better?

I bet you we can, we can be less on our phone, we can select better our friends, we can manage better our finances, we can manage better the stress we are willing to take on, we can organize our life better, we can shut down the unnecessary temptation to buy the latest crap they push into our faces through social media, through adverts, we can turn into a more modern, sustainable lifestyle, we can invest more green (I’m gonna write more about this bit, I wrote my masters dissertation about it), we can be more environmentally friendly, we can declutter the disruptive stuff off of our lives, so yes, WE CAN.

I wish everyone to reach the state of love and trust.

PS; From Paris with Love

Your sincerely

To/Minimal
