Conscious planning

Conscious planning

Hey, I’m back again with another short read for you, curious bunch of stalkers. So let’s get started, the topic I had in my mind now is to discuss the need of planning and especially conscious planning and what does it mean to me in relation to the upcoming holiday season.

Conscious planning to me is when I manage to nail something long term, let me get you an example; so this winter we are going to use the same Christmas tree as last year, so last year like I mentioned before, I decided to buy a plant and after Christmas also planted it and this plant happily survived the year in the balcony so will be with us again and gonna be our Christmas tree and planning to use this little fella again and again for the forthcoming years too, same applies with the little decoration we have. So this is a great example of conscious planning, planning something for the long run if possible. Ahh, so planning, have you thought about what you want to gift to your loved ones? If not, maybe it is about time to figure out something nice, kind, close to the person and embrace the thought of; it is better to give than to receive.

This year, we will also be doing something rather unusual in terms of cooking, so had the idea of figuring out the Christmas meal and prepare it beforehand, most probably next week to know how long will it take for us, is it good, or not so good and in general to make sure the process will be smooth during Christmas leaving us some time to change things, should it be necessary.

On another note, will try to keep the festive season a bit low key and more food centered which is going great so far and happy to mention that I haven’t consumed any alcohol since June and it will stay that way during December too, wait a minute so it means I nailed dry November too, which is great, haven’t even thought about it till now.

What is your plan? Do you even have one? How do you organise this part of the year? Do you keep it minimal? Regardless the answers, feel good in your skin, that’s the most important.

Yours sincerely
