Countdown till Christmas

Christmas is almost here and we are over with a Black Friday and Cyber Monday combo just recently, most people are busy shopping and selecting their Christmas gift even just 2 days before, but I believe its more of a time for revision, time to look back a bit of our year from the lows to the highs and evaluate our situation, from spiritual to financial wise.

I think I could have been better in certain aspects and behaved better in certain situation, but in overall I can confirm it was a successful year so far and not finished just yet. I am on track to tackle the 2 books a month year long challange which is awesome and definitely was worth it and planning to keep on reading more and more.

I managed my investments well in the year I can confirm that indeed, my overall net worth increased but I will write about it later on.

Spiritually I got stronger and become more calm than I was ever before, I started to incorporate more workouts into my regime, started practising yoga and decluttered some items along the way too. I believe I could have done better in terms of saying no to materialist temptations but I have to acknowledge that in times I failed to do so, however became more conscius about the environment, became a better version of myself and a travelled a lot throughout the year (yes I know it is not so green to do so, but I am ain’t no perfect).

The maine question is whether I could have done it better? Of course I could have managed lots of things better but the mistakes were there to learn from them and I am planning indeed to do so..

I already bought gifts for my loved ones, one strict criteria was that I have to purchase something that they are definitely going to use, in the entire year I was paying close attention to their wishes and I believe I managed to purchase usufule gifts for my loved ones but can’t really talk about these items just yet for obvious reasons, I am convinced they won’t end up trashed somewhere and won’t be traded for other items, feeling confident about that. They will use the items hopefully on daily basis and then I can consider it a success, usefulness is the key I believe.

Already having my Christmas spirit and living in London where the Christmas is probably the biggest business all year long definitely helped in that, beautiful Christmas lights, markets all over the city. It’s a mesmerizing experience being here in this city this time of the year.

Christmas in London is always on point and of course the unmissable Winter Wonderland.

Had 2 amazing Christmas party too, with great people, amazing food and lots of laughter. I’ve been in Winter wonderland too which can’t be missed out if someone is living in London, even tough just had few drinks there but it is always fun to be there and wonder around the food stales and think about the crazy people who go on those super dodgy and scary looking theme park stuff.

Some delicious food from the Christmas parties.

Coming from a Hungarian family also means that this is a big celebration for us, a time of reflection also, last but not least a time when we can be a bit more kind, a bit more attentive towards each other. Think about your past year, where you could improve yourself, where you should change, the direction you’d like to shift towards and also think about how lucky you are to have all those lovely people in your life, all those luxury others can only dream of.

I wish all of you and your loved ones Merry Christmas and lot’s of joy, happiness and patiance towards each other.

Your sincerely
