FiRe Aka Financial Independence - Retire Early
The title speaks for itself. Who’s on earth doesn’t want to be financially independent and retire early? Well in theory no one, in reality most people living their life without even thinking about a way to achieve it. Obviously it’s easier said than done, but let’s set our sight on the goal to achieve it.
If you ever been thinking about not listening to your boss, not attending on “worth” on to be staff parties, if you feel depressed or distressed or disrespected at work, well than I am talking to you.
Being financially independent, when you don’t have to work just to provide a living for your family, for yourself, to pay your debts, have shelter and food. Well, people achieved that, claim that that’s the point where really life starts. You can start to focus on projects you always wanted to do, going to the gym because you managed to have time for, you can spend more time with people you always wanted to, you can finally learn playing the piano what you always wanted and so on and on.
I have a good news, people done that before, many still working on this, others thinking about the possibility so yes, it is possible and worth to have our sight at it.
The FiRe movement really started to grow in the recent years and people started to think how to escape the rat race. As a new Londoner I fancy reaching FiRe myself too, finishing working for a living and would be happy to focus on different aspects of my life, spend more time with my family and organise more programs.
The most popular ways achieving FiRe are; through investing in shares, index trackers, ETF’s and of course properties. Many people achieved it via dividend portfolios and also through entrepreneurship, obviously just to mention the most well-known and used approaches and excluding criminal activities.
My plan to achieve it is through a mixed portfolio of high yielding quality stocks and shares with high growth potential. Later on I’d like to purchase a property however due to the low interest rate environment and due to the accessibility of low interest rate mortgages I found the properties overpriced in the United Kingdom at the moment.
With careful planning, with time, budgeting and through living within our means FiRe shouldn’t be only a dream instead the possibility for everyone.
The FiRe movement can count on me and I hope you gonna join too.
Your Sincerely
